You're lying, that can't be true! The quality is so different, but I guess that might be because of the different production teams for the adaptations.

"100-man no Inochi no Ue ni Ore wa Tatte Iru " story was lot better than u think I'm at ch.79 on the manga and it is fantastic and story is also dark not edgy dark like "akame kill" just dark enough to enjoy. story has drug cartel fight, kingdom building now even has stuff like Taliban also villians are ruthless af animation def wasn't that good. Also author write the politics in that story really well not just simple nobles and commoners stuff author goes into really details. Current arc is about Muslim faction btw also I won't even be surprised if author incorporate Ukraine war into the story

Yeah certain directors/studios I've heard manga readers complain that they've butchered the adaptation so that's why I hope the same thing won't happen here.

honestly even if story gets butcherd by anime studio I would just go and read the manga at least with anime manga will get more recognition

There will never be a season two. The anime had an anime only ending that does not follow the manga.

Pretty sure the source material was different. Tatsumi became a dragon, Mine is alive and had his child, and Akame is on a journey to find a cure to make tatsumi human again.

I am not sure what quality you refer to, these are two totally different genres. If you mean animation quality, then even the first fantasy series was better than this.

In terms of writing and general quality I guess. I rated it below average/bad and this one episode was much better than the two seasons combined for me.

2nd seasons was poop....couldnt compare to the first season at all.

animation went on def direction. they added a filler arc prob cuz upcoming drug cartel arc was long so they didn't wanted to rush or end it with cliff hanger

either way, it wasnt a good season.
i especially hate the new guy...and the glasses girl too.
i hate them so much i could shit on their characters all day and night long.
not everyone hated them and thats ok, everyones got their own opinions on people and matters.

honestly I like the way its going rn, since most problems main cast encounter won't simply solve by flexing powers like u seen in other isekai animes. So its refreshing to see something different

but that manga was so shit... my expectations dropped already... Either way, this anime is really disturbing, and I might just drop it after 2nd episode.
